Fox News has become the latest network to join CNN as a simulcast partner for the upcoming presidential debate.

On Thursday, June 27th, Fox News will join ABC News and PBS as networks simulcasting the 90-minute event produced by CNN.

In its pre-debate coverage, an early edition of Jesse Watters Primetime at 7 PM ET will be followed by a special anchored by Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, alongside Dana Perino and Watters. Sean Hannity will be live on location at CNN’s Atlanta studios.

Meanwhile, senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy will provide coverage from the White House while Chad Pergram will discuss how the Commission on Presidential Debates was side-stepped by the Biden and Trump campaigns.

Shannon Bream will anchor coverage on the FOX network between 9-11 PM ET as the debate is aired.

After the debate, Hannity will host a one-hour program before Fox News @ Night with Trace Gallagher takes over coverage on the cable network.

Additionally, Fox News Radio will provide a simulcast of Fox News Channel broadcasting the CNN debate for its radio affiliates. Jared Halpern and Jessica Rosenthal will anchor post-debate coverage on the radio network.

Fox News and Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo have debuted a new FOX Nation special that investigates the relationship between U.S. financial markets and the Chinese Communist Party.

The three-part series was published on the streaming platform Thursday. It will feature interviews with Hayman Capital founder and Chief Investment Officer Kyle Pass, RWR Advisory Group President and CEO Roger Robinson, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, and author Gordan Chang about how retirement funds may potentially be funding the CCP.

“I’m really excited about this documentary,” Bartiromo said while appearing on the Fox News midday show America’s Newsroom. “(There are) hundreds of Chinese companies trading on our public exchanges. And that is basically allowing investors, American investors, to fund the expansion of our number one adversary.

“And interestingly, it’s even government employees. Remember the thrift fund. This is the 401K plan for government employees. There was a huge portion of that going into Chinese companies. It’s amazing to me that government employees — the military — would want to put their retirement money into companies that may very well be producing the next drone, the next weapon, that could be put against Americans.”

As CNN prepares to host the first presidential debate next week, a new poll shows it should expect a big audience for the made-for-TV event.

A poll conducted by Puck News and Echelon Insights shows that 63% of respondents plan to watch the first debate on Thursday, June 27th. The poll was conducted between June 10th and 12th, and included more than 1,000 respondents.

Of those asked about the debate, 46% said they expected former President Donald Trump (R) to perform better than President Joe Biden (D). 37% thought Biden would be the top performer, while 17% were undecided.

Additionally, 56% of those polled said they would like to see independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. be allowed to participate in the June event. Due to the rules agreed upon by the Biden and Trump campaigns, Kennedy has until Thursday, June 20th to eclipse 15% in a national poll to be included in the debate. As of this publication, he has yet to garner that support.

The June 27th event will not only be available on CNN. Both ABC News and PBS have joined the network as simulcast partners for the 90-minute debate.

Respondents in the poll were also asked about where they get their news. 50% said from local TV outlets. In cable news, 37% said Fox News, 36% said ABC News, and 35% said CNN, before outlets like MSNBC, NBC News, CBS News, Newsmax, and OAN.
