Love avocados? You won't want to miss these 23 Gluten Free Avocado Recipes that are sure to inspire you!Gluten Free Avocado Recipes (1)

I've mentioned before that there were a lot of foods that I never had growing up.

My Mom was a good cook, but she was a Southern Cook that was not the least bit adventurous in the kitchen. Everything that she made was delicious, but she wasn't one to venture outside of what she grew up eating.

It is hard to believe it now, but one of those foods I never had was avocado.

Apparently, she had a bad experience at some point in her youth and never tried it again.

To this day, she "doesn't like avocado," although I can't remember ever seeing her give it a try. (Sounds like three kids I know. 🙂 At least I know they get it from their Grandmother.)

Because my Mom had convinced me that avocados were awful, I was out of college before I ever tried one. Now I eat a half of an avocado most every day.

There are so many great ways to enjoy avocado - from salads and wraps to pasta.

Here are some of my favorite gluten free avocado recipes from bloggers I love.
